Cpl Ryan Herring
Ryan is a highly motivated, innovative, and professional veteran police officer with the Austin Police Department. He is a Corporal on a night patrol shift. Ryan’s current assignment include routine patrol duties as well as supervisory duties of seven officers also assigned to the shift. Ryan has dedicated almost half of his career devoted to the problem of impaired driving by his time on the DWI unit and training officers to better identify and apprehend impaired drivers.
Ryan has a passion for the professional and personal development of officers.
